Immanuel gathers to celebrate Holy Communion every Sunday, with a full order of worship celebrated at 10:30 and a modified brief liturgy at 8:15. Immanuel's is a rich and lively celebration of Holy Communion, traditional in structure but never routine.
Communion
Holy Communion is open to all baptized Christians who believe that Christ is truly present in the sacrament. You may receive wine from the common cup or individual cups. White grape juice is available at the edges of the server's tray for those who desire it. Non-communion children may come forward to receie a blessing.
Music
Music is a rich part of worship at Immanuel, through congregational hymnody, liturgy, and music offerings from groups that include Adult Choir, Bell Choir, Immanuel Brass, seasonal Children's Choir and other occasional ensembles and soloists.
Childcare
Children are always welcome in worship but our staffed nursery is available from 8:05 a.m. to noon on the main level down the hall from the sanctuary. Our nursery staff members are ready to greet you.
Special services
Seasonal worship opportunities are offered Wednesdays during Advent and Lent at 12:15 and 7 p.m.. The 7 p.m. service of Evening Prayer is preceded by a simple meal at 6 p.m. and often followed by special learning opportunities for those who are interested.
